The Нudimovs are from Kharkiv. It was there that Andrii and Kateryna planned to start their own business. Their restaurant was supposed to open in late February.
However, the great war broke out. A rocket hit the office building, and only the chairs survived.
The young people moved to Kyiv.
“We had an idea to create a kind of Kharkiv corner in the capital. Because our hometown is always on our minds. Many of our friends also moved to the capital. Everyone said they missed something Kharkiv, something native,” Kateryna says.
That’s how ХА (KHA) appeared, a place with authentic square pizza and a unique atmosphere from the First Capital.
A thermometer is painted on the walls of the cafe, a reference to the large ten-meter thermometer in the city centre. It is a usual meeting place for Kharkiv residents.
“We welcome absolutely all visitors from all over Ukraine. And for Kharkiv residents, KHA will become a very special cosy place where you can always come and get inspired,” the owners say.
You can visit the cafe at the following addresses: 12 Shota Rustaveli St. and 4 Rusanivska Naberezhna, Kyiv.
