This is what Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk stated in an interview with the Italian TV channel RAI. According to her, during the year of full-scale war, Ukrainians have convincingly demonstrated to the world their ability and desire to defend their native land.

According to the official, we are highly motivated because we love our land, we manage it, and it thanks us for it. Therefore, we are striving to restore the borders of the state recognized by international law. Western countries were not mistaken when they decided to help us in this.

“Their leaders clearly realize who Russia really is. By investing in the security component of Ukraine, they are also helping themselves, their states, nations and peoples. Joseph Biden and other leaders of the leading countries clearly understand that this is an investment in the world order and peace, which is very necessary not only for us. Everyone needs it,” the Vice Prime Minister summarized.
