Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk expressed her gratitude to the leaders and people of Italy, commenting on the provision of air defense systems to Ukraine.

On the air of RAI3 TV channel, she thanked Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for the firm position of the Italian government on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. And also for her personal presence in our country on the eve of the anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion. According to her, such visits demonstrate the determination of this support.

“From the very beginning of the Russian aggression, the Italian Parliament has been in favor of providing military support to Ukraine. Italy has provided us with air defense systems, which are already working, protecting our cities and infrastructure. But most importantly, they are saving the lives of thousands of civilians, including many women and children,” summarized Iryna Vereshchuk.
