The team of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, Oleh Kotenko, met with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.

Since 2014, the Council of Churches has been supporting the families of missing persons and assisting in their search.

The meeting discussed new ways of cooperation between the Office of the Commissioner and representatives of religious organizations. In particular, the participants agreed on the assistance and broader assistance from the Council of Churches at the regional and district levels.

“The families of the missing have a great demand for spiritual support, for help from religious organizations. Faith helps them. We honor the involvement of the church in this matter and hope for a long and fruitful cooperation. Together we will be able to support families going through the most difficult times and provide them with help. And in the end, we will win!” emphasized Oleh Kotenko, the Commissioner for Missing Persons, during the meeting.

We are reminding that Oleh Kotenko visited the Coordination Center in Rivne.
