Today, with the assistance of the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, the bodies of 17 fallen Ukrainian defenders were returned home.

The bodies were transferred from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in accordance with the Geneva Convention.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the TOT by the Russian Federation, the bodies of 1426 Ukrainian defenders have been returned to their families for a decent burial.
