A new automobile checkpoint opened on the Ukrainian-Romanian border

A new automobile border crossing point with Romania, Dyakivtsi – Rakovets, has been opened in the Chernivtsi region. It operates around the clock. The planned daily capacity is up to 300 cars, ten buses, 1550 people, including 500 pedestrians. There are six lanes for vehicle registration and a separate one for people crossing the border on foot. In the near future, the control point will be equipped for cargo clearance. Currently, only empty trucks can cross the Dyakivtsi – Rakovets checkpoint.

In addition, Ukrainians can use the following state border crossing points that operate under martial law to travel to Romania:

– “Solotvyno – Sighetu Marmatiei”. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons, as well as cars and pedestrians are allowed to pass through.

– “Porubne – Siret”. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger vehicles, trucks, and pedestrians are allowed to pass through.

– “Dyakove – Halmeu”. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passenger vehicles, trucks, passenger buses, cars and pedestrians are allowed to pass through.

– “Krasnoyilsk – Vicovu de Sus”. The checkpoint is open from 08:00 to 20:00. Passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons are allowed to cross the border on foot.

– Rakhiv. Created to streamline the operation of the international checkpoint across the state border with Romania for the Dilove railroad connection. The checkpoint operates around the clock, but only for the period of martial law and 90 days after its termination or cancellation. Passengers are allowed to travel by rail.

– “Vadul Siret – Vikshany”. The checkpoint is open around the clock. Passengers and cargo are allowed to travel by rail.
