In January-February 2023, almost UAH 77 billion was allocated from the state budget for social payments, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reports.

It is noted that about UAH 17 billion was allocated for social protection of citizens in difficult life circumstances. More than UAH 32 billion –  to support low-income families, provide benefits and housing subsidies. The funds were also allocated for social protection of families with children and people with disabilities.

The Ministry of Reintegration is constantly monitoring the provision of financial support to the vulnerable category of citizens, such as internally displaced persons. In particular, in February, UAH 6.3 billion of state aid was paid to IDPs. And since the beginning of the year, the total amount is about UAH 12.5 billion.
