Ukrainian citizens are forced to temporarily reside abroad due to the military aggression of the russian federation,  have been allowed to send applications for pensions to assign or renew by post.

The application is sent to any territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, regardless of the place of registration of the person.

These changes were made to the Procedure for Submission and Processing of Documents for the Appointment (Recalculation) of Pensions following the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” by Resolution of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine No. 21-1 dated 20.04.2023, which entered into force on May 31, 2023.

The provision will be valid for the period of martial law in Ukraine and for three months following the month in which it is terminated or canceled.
