Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an order to overcome the consequences of the emergency caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam as a result of russia’s armed aggression.

The document recommends that the Kherson Regional Military Administration and other local governments organize work to restore the damaged buildings and calculate the appropriate amount of compensation. Namely:

• to conduct a survey of the territory, a set of emergency rescue measures, and demining;
• to organize the work of commissions to inspect damaged buildings and structures in all communities of the Kherson region with the involvement of a sufficient number of specialists;
• the results of the survey and calculations of the amount of compensation should be included in the State Register of Property Damaged and Destroyed as a Result of Hostilities.
