Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk announced a national news marathon.
According to her, the Government met with international humanitarian operators the day before. The Government is currently developing a plan for emergency humanitarian support for residents of the flooded areas of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
In particular, it is a one-time financial assistance to the victims. The amount of aid will be determined soon. The regional military administrations are preparing relevant orders defining the lists of affected areas.
“This is a one-time financial aid. Everyone who suffered from the disaster should receive it. The help is urgently needed, and people are counting on it,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
