A new grant project is being launched in Ukraine to provide non-refundable grants to small businesses to ensure business continuity and restore displaced enterprises. This was reported by the press service of Oschadbank.
Who can apply for participation in the grant selection?
- Micro-enterprises in the most affected regions (Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, and Kherson oblasts).
- Businesses that have returned to the reoccupied territories (previously occupied territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, and Sumy regions or other regions that will be reoccupied at the time of submission of grant applications).
- Companies that are important for the provision of basic goods and services in all areas under control.
What is the amount of grants?
The project provides non-repayable funding of up to 4 thousand euros for about 750 small businesses within 6 months of selection.
What can the funds be used for?
To replace damaged equipment, transportation costs for relocation or return, or working capital needs.
How to take part?
You can apply for the program through the Diia digital application. The application deadline is July 1, 2023.
The project is being implemented by Germany’s GIZ and the Enterprise Development Fund under the “EU4Business: Support to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Recovery, Competitiveness and Internationalization” initiative with the participation of Oschadbank and other banking institutions.
