We appeal to the embassies of foreign countries to conduct additional work with the citizens of their countries to ensure that they leave all the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

Ukrainian defenders have launched active counteroffensives in certain areas of the combat front with the russian occupation troops.

In the coming weeks, the security situation along the contact line is expected to deteriorate, and the occupation of some of the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by russia is possible.

On June 6, the russian occupiers’ bombing of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant had terrible consequences, including for the population of the still-occupied left side of the Dnipro River in southern Ukraine, russia will not stop at any civilian victims to achieve its goals.

In this regard, we urge the embassies of foreign countries accredited in Kyiv to conduct additional work with their citizens to ensure that they leave all the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, including those occupied by russia in 2014.

There is a heightened risk that Russia will cynically use them as human shields or sacrificial victims to shift responsibility for deaths and injuries to Ukraine.

We especially ask you to draw the attention of citizens of your countries who have illegally arrived or are planning to arrive in violation of Ukrainian law to the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula.  russian occupation authorities can take advantage of the summer vacation season to expand the presence of foreigners, especially children, and teenagers, in Crimea and use them for their propaganda purposes, with absolutely no concern for their safety.
