Due to the significant number of calls to the hotline of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, we remind you that only the Ministry of Internal Affairs is authorized to issue extracts from the Unified Register of Missing Persons under particular circumstances.
To get an excerpt:
- Send an application to the Department of Informatization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine by e-mail: [email protected] or to the address of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine: Akademika Bohomoltsia Street 10, Kyiv.
- Attach copies of the applicant’s passport and a document confirming family ties to the application. Also, attach a copy of the wanted person’s passport or other identification document that shows personal data. The extract will send to the email address specified in the application or the return mailing address.
Verifying a person and granting the status of a missing person under certain circumstances occur within 30 calendar days.
