The aggressor country rejected the UN’s request for access to the flooded part of Kherson region due to the russian federation’s explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.  The organization’s representatives had to deliver humanitarian aid there, the UN press service reports.

The UN calls on the Russian authorities to act by international humanitarian law and allow the mission to enter the Kherson region. They assure us that they are continuing to work on obtaining the necessary permit.

The organization will do everything possible to provide urgent and life-saving assistance to those affected by the dam’s destruction.

The Ministry of Reintegration reminds us that obstructing the activities of international humanitarian organizations is a gross violation of international law.
