The Eastern Europe Foundation, with the support of the European Union, announced a competition for Civic Tech digital tools “Act to Support” to support IDPs and communities. The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported this.
The competition aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations to work effectively with IDPs and local authorities of host communities.
Based on the competition results, 10 winning organizations will be selected, and receive up to 20 thousand Euros to implement the project.
Organizations can use the grant to develop new products or improve existing ones. In particular, we are talking about chatbots, websites, apps, and other digital tools.
The competition will evaluate projects that:
- simplify the interaction between citizens and government offices;
- can increase the level of security in society;
- increase the transparency of local authorities;
- promote the work of small and micro businesses in wartime;
- help integrate IDPs into the host community;
- solve other problems that have arisen or been exacerbated by the full-scale russian invasion.
Organizations that work on the development of digital tools, are registered in Ukraine and have a non-profit status can participate.
