The Ministry of Reintegration continues to provide state financial assistance in the interests of persons deprived of their liberty due to armed aggression against Ukraine.

In particular, in June, the Ministry of Reintegration transferred 42.1 million UAH to the bank accounts of the families of Ukrainian citizens illegally detained by the russian federation.

Thus, another 243 families of political prisoners, civilian hostages, and prisoners of war received state aid in the amount of 100,000 UAH each year of captivity. Some were taken during the several years their relatives were held in detention centers.

Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Reintegration has already paid state aid to the released prisoners of war and their families in the total amount of 124.4 million UAH.
