Recently, IDPs have been receiving text messages from Oshadbank informing them that they need to identify themselves at the bank’s branches by September 1.

Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, the issue was discussed yesterday, July 14, at the Coordination Center for Internally Displaced Persons.

The members of the Coordination Center agreed:

– Oshadbank will stop sending this SMS;

– for pensioners, the deadline for identification should be extended until the end of January 2024;

– for recipients of IDP payments, identification should not be applied at all (since the payment period is limited to 6 months).

The Ministry of Social Policy is currently drafting relevant legislative amendments, which will be adopted in the near future.
