This is about the payment of financial aid in the amount of 5 thousand UAH from the state to the people who suffered from flooding as a result of the enemy’s explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
As of July 19, the affected residents of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions received financial assistance totaling 17.875 million UAH. Thus, the state aid has already been paid to 2,882 residents of Kherson region and 693 residents of Mykolaiv region.
According to the victim’s statements, the payments are made to their bank accounts or in cash through the Ukrposhta company.
We remind you that applications for such financial assistance from the state will be accepted until August 31, 2023. It is available to people who were registered at the time of the explosion of the hydroelectric power plant in the flooded settlements of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. Including those who left the flooded areas of the temporarily occupied territory of the Left Bank on June 6 for the Ukrainian-controlled territory.
They are eligible for these payments regardless of whether they receive government assistance for living expenses as IDPs.
