The government has made changes to the eRecovery program. From now on, Ukrainians who have repaired their homes damaged by Russian aggression on their own will be able to receive compensation for their expenses. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal made the announcement.
The Cabinet of Ministers expects the compensation mechanism to be ready in the fall, after which the owners of the restored houses will also receive payments.
Previously, eRecovery provided compensation only to owners of unrepaired homes damaged as a result of hostilities.
