Another contest was announced by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU). Funding of up to $60,000 is available for NGOs supporting human rights defenders, regional media, local governments, law enforcement, etc.

The funds received can be used for:

• Assistance in documenting war crimes committed by the Russian Federation;
• Assisting local authorities with damage assessment;
• Assisting affected residents in assessing damages and preparing claims for compensation;
• Expert support for human rights actions, etc.

To enter the competition, please send a package of materials to [email protected] by August 9 with the subject line: “Subgrant Application, Organization Name, Date”.
