Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this live on a national news program.
She emphasized that the participation of employees of the belarusian Red Cross Society in the deportation of Ukrainian children is an international crime.
According to the official, the Attorney General’s Office has already launched an investigation. Its head, Andriy Kostin, assured that each child subjected to illegal methods and means of deportation would be considered individually.
“Under the guise of the Red Cross, the Belorussian authorities are committing crimes against Ukrainian children. I want to say right away that no matter what crosses they hide behind, they will be held accountable as criminals. Including in the International Criminal Court,” the Vice Prime Minister emphasized.
