The Cabinet of Ministers decided at its meeting. According to the resolution, the deadline for the physical identification of pension and social benefit recipients has been extended until December 31, 2023.  This applies to IDPs who registered before February 24, 2022.

Thus, until the end of this year, even in the absence of identification, the state won’t stop these payments, and Oshadbank will not block accounts.

The government decree also expands the possibilities of physical identification required to continue receiving social benefits. In particular, it will be possible to identify a person during a videoconference in which identification documents are presented.

It is also equated with physical identification:

– Authorization to the personal electronic account at the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine using the qualified remote electronic signature Diia Signature (Diia ID);

– Certificate from a foreign diplomatic mission that a person residing abroad is alive.
