The government made the decision at a meeting. Thus, the affected residents of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions will be able to apply for state aid until October 31, 2023.

We are talking about the payment of financial assistance in the amount of 5 thousand hryvnias to the people who suffered flooding due to the enemy’s explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.

As of August 7, the affected residents of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions have already received financial assistance totaling almost 52 million UAH.  In particular, 9,427 residents of Kherson region and 944 residents of Mykolaiv region received financial assistance.

According to the victims, payments are made to their bank accounts or in cash through Ukrposhta.

We would like to remind you that such financial assistance from the state may be received by persons who, at the time of the explosion of the hydroelectric power plant, were living (registered/declared) in the settlements of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions that were flooded.

Including those who left the flooded areas of the temporarily occupied territory of the Left Bank on June 6 for the Ukrainian-controlled territory.
