It is aimed at the integration of Ukrainian asylum seekers in the European Union, and the preservation of our culture, language, traditions, and heritage. This is reported on the official website of the European Commission. 

Its initiators call on the European Commission to propose new legislation to preserve Ukrainian cultural heritage. And to create a network of integration centers across Europe.

For this initiative to be considered, organizers must collect one million votes from seven different member states within one year. You have six months from the date of registration to begin collecting signatures.

The Lisbon Treaty introduced the European Citizens’ Initiative. It allows citizens to actively shape the agenda and submit proposals for new legislation to the European Commission.
