On the eve of the new school year, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF),  with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is developing a workshop on mine safety.  UNICEF-Ukraine reports.

A teacher’s manual is already available, as well as presentations for mine safety classes. They were developed by UNICEF with partners and adapted for primary and secondary schools.

Interactive materials are also available. In particular:

– Online lessons for juniors and seniors;

– Advice from psychologists;

– Puzzles for preschoolers;

– Cartoons and videos for elementary and middle school students.

Educational materials can protect children from risks and save their lives and health.
