At the event, they discussed Model Regulations for the establishment and operation of these advisory bodies. They also reviewed examples of best practices. All participants agreed that IDP councils should unite IDPs, encourage them to make positive changes, and facilitate their integration into communities. Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk supported the initiative to hold a forum to share experiences between different regions. The official stressed the need for communication at all levels. Only then will the work of such advisory bodies be effective.

Almost 70% of Ukrainian citizens are ready to participate in the country’s reconstruction. The Ministry of Infrastructure cites a study by the Center for Innovation Development.

The e-Dem module should become one of the key tools to engage them in this process. The application will be integrated into the State Digital Recovery Management System DREAM. Its development is currently underway.

Through this program, experts, representatives of civil society, veterans, internally displaced persons, and citizens currently outside Ukraine will be able to participate in the discussion of pressing issues.

The tool is designed to ensure a transparent rebuilding process with broad public participation. And to minimize the risk of corruption and misuse of funds.
