The spokesman for the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, announced a fundraising campaign to help Ukraine during the heating season.

He noted that due to russian aggression, many buildings, energy, water, and gas infrastructure in the country have been damaged.

That is why it was decided to launch such an initiative to help the government of Ukraine in its preparations for winter. In this way, people are provided with specific, targeted assistance.

It will amount to $268 million. This will help more than 1.3 million people.
