Recently, the National Information Bureau held a meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk and attended by representatives of civil society organizations. It was devoted to the legal regime in the territories to be de-occupied.

Participants agreed that transitional justice issues require a comprehensive approach and changes in many regulations.

To this end, they agreed to jointly develop and adopt a strategy based on which ministries and agencies will develop specialized draft laws to amend the legislation.

In particular, it concerns such issues as the transitional period, validation of transactions, civil status acts and court decisions that took place in the TOT, lustration, amnesty, and other transitional justice issues.

As a result of the meeting, a working group was set up to develop the strategy.
