This refers to the compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of IDPs on the premises of state, municipal, and private property.
The decision was made at a meeting of the government. The draft decree was prepared by order of the Prime Minister.
The document provides for the allocation of more than 277.7 million UAH from the state budget reserve fund to the relevant institutions to cover utility costs for January – April 2023. Some are directed:
– More than 9.1 million UAH to pay compensation to state institutions managed by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Ministry of Social Policy, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
– More than UAH 24.3 million in grants to public and private educational institutions;
– More than 238.2 million UAH to municipal institutions, state educational institutions transferred for financing from local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils. The Ministry of Reintegration will provide this additional subsidy from the state budget to local budgets according to the approved distribution among regional budgets;
– More than 5.9 million UAH to private institutions (excluding private educational institutions).
The Ministry of Reintegration is grateful to the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance for their cooperation in the implementation of the state policy on support for internally displaced persons.
