In August, the National Social Service began verifying the current location of IDPs receiving government housing subsidies. This issue was raised at a recent meeting of the Coordination Center for Internally Displaced Persons.

 

It should be noted that such an inspection must be announced 2 days in advance. It can be carried out based on:

 

– Information on the registration of internally displaced persons within the same territorial community;

 

– Receiving notifications from state authorities, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, public associations, or individuals about changes in the actual place of residence of IDPs;

 

– The verification results by the criteria for the appointment of this assistance.

 

To prevent the termination of payments to IDPs in case of absence during the inspection, it is necessary to contact the Department of Social Protection of the Population (DoSP) within 14 days. If there are justified reasons for the absence, they must provide supporting documents to the DoSP within 30 days.

 

Therefore, if you have changed your actual residence or contact phone number, or if you do not have your apartment number listed, you must provide the appropriate information.  You can do this by contacting the Department of Social Protection.
