A competition for small grants in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions is announced to improve the energy efficiency of Ukrainian businesses affected by the war.
The project “Power Up!” is implemented by the East Europe
Foundation with the support of the program “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”.
As part of the competition, 10 Ukrainian companies can receive funds to renovate production facilities and implement measures to reduce energy consumption.
Maximum grant amount: up to 1 million UAH for one enterprise.
Project costs can be used for:
– Purchase of equipment to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions;
– Delivery/installation/assembly of equipment.
Businesses and utilities affected by military operations are eligible for the grant competition. They must have documented evidence of direct losses (destruction and/or damage to company property) or indirect impacts (reduced production).
