The Ukrainian side implemented measures that led to the repatriation of 51 fallen defenders’ bodies to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine.

Thanks to the collaboration of various departments including the Coordination Headquarters for Prisoner of War Treatment, the Civil-Military Cooperation Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Department for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the bodies were successfully transferred.

After two years of efforts, we successfully repatriated the remains of 1832 Ukrainian defenders.

Ukraine continues to search for and return the bodies of all our heroes who gave their lives defending their homeland.
