There may be instances where Ukrainian individuals who have departed from the Temporary Occupied Territories (TOT) require validation of their work history for pension purposes, but lack employment documentation or related records.

The topic was discussed during a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Realization of the Rights and Freedoms of IDPs presided over by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

The participants in the meeting clarified that by CMU Resolution No. 637 of August 12, 1993, the length of service can be confirmed without documentation, as long as at least two witnesses testify.

The applicable rule pertains to enterprises, institutions, and organizations situated in the TOT or conflict areas.

Witnesses can include individuals who have worked with the applicant at a company, institution, or organization and can provide documentation verifying the applicant’s work during the relevant timeframe.

And according to witness testimony, the Ukrainian Pension Fund confirms the length of service for pension eligibility.
