In total, six children. The Ministry of Reintegration was involved in the return of three of them. Veronika from Kharkiv region, Ivan and Maksym from Mariupol.
The children arrived accompanied by Ukrainian officials, specifically Daria Gerasymchuk, who serves as an Advisor to the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Child Rehabilitation, and Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Ukrainian Parliament. Their visit aims to spotlight the crimes committed by russia against Ukrainian children and facilitate the establishment of an international coalition to aid their return.
The Ukrainian delegation participated in the Stolen Voices event, which is a component of the Bring Kids Back UA action plan approved by the President and coordinated by the Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.
This visit is a forceful reminder that any crime against children will face repercussions, and Ukraine will persevere in its efforts to return them.
