The official stressed this point during the investment forum “Kharkiv Restart” that took place in Kyiv on September 19.

The meeting discussed obtaining funds to repair and enhance Kharkiv. Mayor Ihor Terekhov emphasized the urgency of devising plans and investing money immediately.

Ukrainian and foreign companies participated in the event, both those who have already worked in Kharkiv and those who are considering such an opportunity.

Among the honored guests and organizers of the forum were Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Oleksiy Kuleba, Members of Parliament David Arakhamia and Danylo Hetmantsev, and Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

In her welcoming remarks, the head of the Ministry of Reintegration addressed the residents of Kharkiv region: “I am here to show you my deep respect and honor. You achieved the impossible by surviving the initial days of a full-scale conflict and becoming genuine heroes. I am thankful for your bravery.

She also mentioned the bravery of Kharkiv locals. Even during the initial phases of the russian invasion, they persisted in their work, daily life, and progress.  Reclaiming Kharkiv region boosted Ukrainians’ confidence that victory is possible.

The official appealed to Ukrainian and foreign companies to invest in the Kharkiv region, emphasizing the appeal of its population which includes over a million residents, including approximately 500,000 internally displaced persons.  This is a great opportunity for the country. I have confidence in Kharkiv region, in entrepreneurs, teachers, and doctors who are committed to the development and love of our nation.
