Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk led a meeting for the Ukrainian portion of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Moldovan Mixed Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The Ukrainian team met to discuss the most promising areas of cooperation within the framework of preparations for the forthcoming meeting of the co-chairs of the Commission.
These include trade, energy, transport, transit of goods, joint infrastructure projects, border cooperation, regional security, agriculture, etc.
Iryna Vereshchuk thanked everyone and hoped that the Commission Co-Chairs’ meeting would become one of the key platforms for strengthening the partnership between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
“We made great strides with our colleagues to have a thorough meeting and attain favorable results. Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova provide plentiful chances for strengthening collaboration,” the Vice Prime Minister concluded.
