Natives of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea aged 19-25 arrive in mainland Ukraine to apply for their first passport as a citizen of Ukraine. The State Migration Service reported this.
To reach the land governed by Ukraine’s government, Crimeans have to pass a difficult way: they cross borders, including those of the aggressor country.
They can enter Ukraine’s territory with either a birth certificate or an old passport meant for traveling abroad issued to Ukrainian citizens before 2014.
Most intend to enroll in a university in Ukraine after receiving the document.
