In 2024, the Government plans to give nearly 800 million UAH in non-refundable aid to farmers in the de-occupied territories

The EU provided Ukraine with 20 million euros, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said.

Farmers can request this aid through the State Agrarian Register. The primary requirement is to have registered ownership or lease rights to the land.

The 2024 State Budget proposal also includes 2 billion UAH in payments to compensate for services related to demining agricultural land.

In addition, the program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” has been updated. They offer unique financial assistance to small business owners from areas that were under occupation. To help farmers receive loans more easily, the de-occupied territories have been classified into specific categories.

The revised terms for the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program offer a 1% annual interest rate within the first two years of lending, increasing to 3% for the third year and beyond. The state budget covers the remaining balance.

This will assist farmers in areas that were previously occupied to resume their agricultural production.
