At the initiative of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, a forum of regional coordination centers for civilian support was held in Kyiv. It brought together about 100 participants from all regions of Ukraine and abroad.
Heads of coordination centers attended the event, heads of international organizations and donors, as well as representatives of public and voluntary organizations.
In particular, participants discussed the development of focal points as a universal administrative platform. It was about mobilizing the efforts and resources of the government international donors civil society, and volunteer organizations around the focal points.
In addition, Forum participants shared effective practices and discussed priorities for 2024.
Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized that the coordination centers should be the main platform for supporting citizens affected by the war.
“That is why we need to focus our efforts and resources on regional coordination centers. So that every one of our people can get the help they need through such coordination centers,” the official stressed.
