Within the campaign “Jobs for IDPs: We Need You!” launched by the Ministry of Reintegration, we are explaining the current programs that pay IDPs for their lost wages.
Therefore, the company may get payment in these cases:
- Hiring internally displaced persons (IDPs) who registered as unemployed for one year through a temporary employment agreement. The employer will receive reimbursement for up to 6 months for their wages and unified social tax. The rate of reimbursement will be at most 13,400 UAH per month.
- Hiring individuals who became IDPs after February 24, 2022. The employer must hire IDPs on a fixed-term or open-ended employment contract, which includes part-time positions that pay at least minimum wage. In this situation, the employer will receive a payment of 6,700 UAH for 2 months.
An employer can request compensation through two methods:
– using the Diia portal
– contacting the nearest employment center.
