Today, Ukraine brought back the bodies of its deceased soldiers. Due to these actions, the remains of 64 deceased defenders were repatriated to the area under the control of the Ukrainian government.

The transfer of the bodies was carried out thanks to the joint work of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Joint Centre of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Sumy Oblast, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as well as in cooperation with other representatives of the security and defense sector of Ukraine and with the direct participation of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Ukraine is actively trying to locate the bodies of the courageous individuals who lost their lives while safeguarding their nation.
