Ukraine got the ninth installment of macro-financial assistance (MFA) worth 1.5 billion EUR from the European Union. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal made this announcement.

Two more payments are anticipated for this program to aid with finances by 2023’s conclusion, based on Ukraine’s adherence to mutually agreed structural provisions. The help is given on favorable conditions and is used to finance priority expenditures of the state budget of Ukraine.

The Prime Minister said that the Ukrainian government is working with the European Commission on a new program called the Ukraine Facility. The program is worth 50 billion EUR and will be in place for a long time. Ukraine anticipates receiving 18 billion euros of the aid in the upcoming year.
