This refers to changes in Law No. 2923-IX, which regulates the payment of compensation to citizens for homes damaged or destroyed by russian aggression.

The most significant change is the expansion of compensation forms under the eRecovery program. From now on, Ukrainians who have made repairs at their own expense will be able to receive it. The Government portal reported this.

Beginning January 1, 2024, this will be the third phase of the comprehensive housing recovery program.

In the first stage, damaged houses were repaired up to 200,000 UAH. In the second stage, people could receive compensation for destroyed homes.

Launching the third stage has been planned for a long time, taking into account the relevant requests made by citizens who have repaired themselves. After all, they are also entitled to state compensation.
