The changes were adopted at a government meeting. 

In particular, the changes clearly define the users of the information system of the mentioned list of territories.

In addition to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Social Policy, regional and Kyiv city military administrations, and other public authorities can now access the system.

Regarding the procedure for approval of changes to the list of territories, it is established that the Ministry of Defense shall approve or reasonably reject proposals to the list within seven days. If the Ministry of Defense does not take a position within the prescribed time limit, the proposals are approved without comment.

The information system contains information on the territories where hostilities are (were) carried out or territories temporarily occupied by the russian federation.

This information helps provide housing aid for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and social assistance to certain categories of people affected by russia’s military aggression.

The dashboard of the information system enables European banks to swiftly verify Ukraine’s control over the territories where businesses are located and conduct foreign trade agreement transactions.
