The Swiss government has prolonged the temporary protection status for Ukrainian refugees who came to the country because of the russian invasion.

This was reported in a press release on the website of the Swiss Federal Council.

The Swiss Federal Council met on November 1 and decided to extend temporary protection status for Ukrainians until March 4, 2025.  As of the end of October 2023, Switzerland gave around 66 thousand Ukrainians temporary protection status.
