Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said this in an interview with the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
According to her, at the beginning of the large-scale invasion, Ukraine managed to keep the world’s focus on russian aggression. As a result, we receive substantial military, economic, and financial support from our partners.
For their part, they have stepped up their defense programs. In particular, they have increased their production of missiles and drones.
The official thinks we should increase our efforts. Our partners’ focus must remain on continued collaboration and support. Our goal is to prevent aggression from spreading into Europe. We believe our enemy can only understand resistance and unity.
“We know what we need to do to succeed, and we understand it will take a long time. Putin is waiting for the US and Western nations to abandon Ukraine, but he’s wrong. Ukrainians must fight and work closely with their allies because there are no other options.” The Vice Prime Minister stressed our unwavering commitment to our goals.
