The Ministry of Immigration and Integration has decided to extend the deadline until March 17, 2025. The Danish Immigration Service’s portal for foreigners reports.

By March next year, the agency plans to review the cases of Ukrainians who have received residence permits. If they meet the temporary protection requirements, it will be extended automatically. They will receive the corresponding card in the mail.

Ukrainians do not need to provide their biometric data again, including their photo and fingerprints.

As a reminder, in March 2022, the Danish Government passed a law that lets Ukrainian asylum seekers legalize their stay in the country and access certain social rights.
