Thus, organizations that import humanitarian aid will be able to continue their activities under the usual procedures. The relevant amendments were developed by the Ministry of Social Policy and approved at a government meeting.

Starting December 1, 2023, recipients will be able to submit a declaration online using the Humanitarian Aid Registration System.

The paper declaration filing option will be available during the transition period until April 1, 2024. During this time, we will review feedback and recommendations to enhance the legal framework for importing and tracking humanitarian assistance.

During the transition time, NGOs, foundations, and other recipients will be able to adapt their processes to the digital system and evaluate its benefits.

Starting December 1, the recipient doesn’t have to use only paper or digital methods. So, the organization can use any option that will appear in the reporting.
