Ukrainians abroad can donate DNA to search for missing relatives

Ukrainians who were compelled to remain in Europe due to russia’s aggressive weapons can contribute DNA samples to locate their loved ones who went missing under unique circumstances. Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko made the announcement.

This became possible thanks to agreements between the National Police and the International Commission on Missing Persons.

The service is currently offered in Poland and Germany. The collected samples will be given to Ukrainian investigators to search for and identify the missing persons.

Schedule of biological material collection:

Poland:

– November 28 – Krakow;

– November 30 – Warsaw;

– November 30 – Poznan.

Germany:

– December 2 – Berlin, Munich;

– December 3 – Dresden;

– December 4 – Frankfurt am Main;

– December 5 – Dusseldorf.
