It is called The Asset Seizure for Ukraine Reconstruction Act. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal states it is a joint initiative of Democrats and Republicans.

The bill will provide the U.S. Department of Justice with the necessary tools to confiscate the assets of sanctioned Russian oligarchs more quickly. The proceeds will be transferred to Ukraine for resilience and recovery.

Earlier, the US froze $8 billion of russian assets to aid Ukraine’s post-war recovery.
